So as promised I want to try and make a difference by finding homeless pups a forever home.
This is Dora, she is a 5 year old Siberian Husky.
I have seen Dora on social media a few times and it makes me sad that she keeps getting overlooked.
Dora has been in kennels for a while through no fault of her own. Her previous life has left her very protective over her humans when out on walks but this appears to be her only flaw (if you can call loving too much a flaw). She is good with other dogs so can happily live with other pups. She just needs a patient owner who is prepared to spend time with her working out her protective issues.
She is a big cuddly girl that loves affection and would be fine with a family with older children. She loves playing with toys and is very food orientated (who isn’t?!) She is very eager to please which will make her more responsive to training.
This beautiful girl deserves a loving home for Christmas (not long now!) so I urge anyone who is interested, or knows someone who might be interested in offering her a home to contact 8 Below Husky Rescue via their adoption enquiry form.
The more people that know Dora’s story the more likely we are to find her a home so please share this post around and lets see if we can find her a forever home.
Good luck Dora,
Emma & Hendrix
